Solaria Nishitetsu Hotel Seoul Myeongdong

Everything is sweet, room size, room upgrade, staff

I was a little confused at first finding the entrance, then check in took a little while with the two people ahead of me. There was not much talking with them, even in Korean, so i could not understand why. However my check in was fairly quick. I never had a hotel give me a point card ever, which was cool. The room I had was quite nice and I liked that it was high and away from any noise from the street. My room got cleaned when I left. The room itself was quite nice, area was convenient and the staff were friendly, so I will probably stay there more when I have to go to Seoul.

Amazing location in the heart of Myeongdong metres away from Myeongdong station and night market. Staffs are terrific and helpul. Rooms are spotlessly maintained. But the rooms are squeezy. There's just not enough room, not for luggage, not even enough to do situps or stretching excercises, and coupled with no gym means an unhealthy stays. 2 more sqm would make a huge difference to the experience.

Had a great stay here, check in, staff etc were great..Bed a little hard for me but not the end of the world. Location is great, straight out the door to the heart of Myeongdong. Thanks

The hotel location within myeongdong shopping area, the room is clean , hard and soft pillow for personal preference and comfort, which is very good

Great location in the middle of the Myeong-dong commercial area. Hundreds of shops, street vendors and people, as well as easy access to Seoul's great subway system. Exceptionally responsive and helpful staff. On the down side, no vehicle access within 3 blocks of the hotel during most of the day. If you're lugging suitcases, carry-ons or small children, expect an additional hike to get to the hotel. Pretty un-awesome in cold or inclement weather. In addition, the front door of the hotel was not available for our visit, which we didn't find out until we walked 3 blocks to get there. Had to trundle with our bags around yet another block to enter through the back door of the hotel. Would have been nice to know that before we schlepped our suitcases are carry-ons to the front door. Rooms on the small side, but full of modern, high-tech amenities, including heated toilet seat and bidet.

The facilities are very advanced and service staff are very friendly. Hotel is also very strategically located.

The location is superb with a famous noodle shops just right at the doorstep, a supermarket within 10m from the entrance of the hotel, walking distance to the cable car to travel up the Seoul tower etc.... room cleanliness is excellent too. Really swear by it’s location but the only downside is that unable to get a taxi right at the main entrance.

I cannot count how many times i stayed in this hotel but everytime i go to Seoul, i must stay this hotel. Price worth with this quality and services. And quiet to sleep even it is located at the center of myeongdong.
