Hotel & Apartahotel SERHS Cosmos

Hotel was very clean and welcoming. Apartment 507 in large connecting annexe was superb, modern (newly refurbished) and very comfortable. It was on the Fifth floor (top) n was very quiet as bedroom is internal and thus not near windows (street noise) or entry door. Double glazing kept noise out well. Bed comfy. Air con has been installed (panel ready on wall) but not yet connected up as it is being tested. Hotel provided a big fan which cooled room down nicely. Kitchen had almost everything I needed but no kettle which when asked at reception why was told kettles are not usual in Andorra. ? However I easily heated water for coffee etc in microwave or stove. No chopping board either so used plates to prepare cut food. Plenty of crockery, cutlery, utensils etc. Staff very helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was very good with great choice and plentiful. Didn't use restaurant so can't comment. Ideally placed if you want the Museu Carmen Thyssen, Centre d'Art d' Escaldes-Engordany or Caldea Spa as is a few mins from them. Main pedestrianised shopping street, Av. Charlemany, is also 1 min away. Old town at other end of city is easily walkable in about 25 mins With plenty see on the way. Was initially concerned as was a 3 star away from old town sites but facilities felt 4 star and even if I had booked in Old Town I would still have had to walk to here to see Museu etc so do not let that put you off. Bus to Barcelona (Andbus) stops outside hotel so was really great travel experience.

Apartment was great and big and decoration so modern and neat. Kitchenette well equipped and modern, and for us was very useful. Living room was big and it has 2 sofabeds real big, as well as 1 big flat TV screen at the living room. We were a couple, but this place can accommodate around 6 to 8 at the most. Bedroom is big, 2 Quinn beds next to the other and really comfy, you’ll find a flat TV screen too. Bathroom really clean and big too. If you’re driving, bear in mind that Parking in the city streets is quite a challenge, as spots are very limited and public parking is expensive (18€ an hour; and 36€ approx for a full day); so the best option is to park at the hotel if possible, though you will be charged with 16€ per day. Also, consider that the hotel parking is reduced. The best of Cosmos hotel, is the location, as it is in the heart of the down town, really close to everything at a walking distance, and the view from our apartment was beautiful. Hope this review helps with what your looking for. Hotel is 3 stars but for us it was a bit better than that.

Great hotel, and easily walk to downtown area.

Hôtel propre et installations de bonne facture. Hôtel situé à proximité des boutiques et de la vieille ville. Nous y avons passé une nuit et avons apprécié l'appartement mis à notre disposition où toutes les mesures avaient été prises pour nous rassurer par rapport à la Covid (porte de l'appartement portant un sceau, distributeur de gel dans l'appartement, au niveau des ascenseurs et du hall, circulation dans l'hôtel, ...). Literie un peu dure, mais confortable. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

L'habitació molt acollidora, ben preparada per passar unes vacances en família. La zona de restauració molt petita per les dimensions de l'hotel. Vam haver de fer cua per entrar a l'esmorzar, gairebé mitja hora. I per sopar, també, però hi havia menys gent i va ser més àgil. La zona d'aparcament proper acostuma a estar molt ocupat i és difícil aparcar a prop.
