Hotel Catedral

We were lucky to find such an incredible hotel! Perfect location just a few blocks from the Malecon and everything else you would want or need It is modern, spotless, has a roof top pool, delicious hot breakfast included,, a super nice indoor/outdoor courtyard on the lobby level that also has a bar and really friendly staff! Only oddity is there aren’t drawers in the room to unpack your clothes and not many hangers so we lived out of our suitcases for three days. We loved having the small balcony that allowed us to open the doors to the outside. Beware of one thing. The lab the front desk suggested for COVID test before returning to the US said it would be 250 per person and the lab charged 1300! The upside was it’s blocks from the hotel, easy. Overall experience was FANTASTIC. We plan to stay again and again, loved it.

Exelent all around, cant find one thing to complain, super clean, comfortable, staff super helpful. I have stay in the hotel a few times and definitely will be back! The warm pool and the cocktails from the bar brings things to the next level. For me 5 stars.

The Catedral is a beautiful, centrally located and affordable hotel. A great place to stay in La Paz.

We loved staying at Hotel Catedral! Perfect location right across from the town square. Several of the best restaurants in La Paz are within easy and safe walking distance plus the beautiful Malecon is only a few blocks away. The roof top pool and bar at the hotel is wonderful!

The only place to stay if you are going to La Paz, right in the middle of the best block in town surrounded by lovely sites, ocean front, artsy shops and excellent restaurants. Has a great roof pool, huge breakfast, nice clean American quality rooms

This is a great hotel. I have stayed here on two different trips. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and modern. Great location and easy to walk around the centro.

Beautiful and elegant hotel. Kind, helpful and professional staff, amazing pool and deck on the roof, delicious hot breakfast, and very comfy beds. We were here Christmas eve and heard church-goers across the street street softly singing hyms and carols in the cathedral. After 6 nights of beach camping we were ready for some luxury, we had a lot of it here. The shower was huge and everything was sparkling clean. The hotel is walking distance from the malecon and lots of conveniences. We loved our stay and will be back for sure!!

We spent 3 nights in this hotel and were sad to leave. Staff was very friendly and the property is truly nice. Free parking on-site is a big plus. We loved the rooftop pool with the bar (great cocktails at unbeatable prices!) with a lovely view. The rooms are huge and well appointed (for this type of hotel) and are very very clean. The breakfast is amazing, all you can think of in terms of Mexican food, great flavours and huge portions. Only hiccup was the noise in the morning, since most rooms face the patio, but that did not bother us that much since we were up early to enjoy La Paz. The area around the hotel was great, very central and all cool sights are within walking distance. For the price paid, a great value for money.
