Blue Lagoon Beach Resort

We really enjoyed Blue Lagoon — the biggest problem was a cyclone that kept us out of the water for a few days!

We have stayed here twice now, and thoroughly loved both stays. The snorkeling reef just off the beach is amazing, and is a rarity being so accessible by anyone in the family. Even those who are new to snorkeling will see things that will amaze them. The food is outstanding and they even cater to children with picky food tastes. We will definitely be back.

We had an amazing time at Blue Lagoon Beach Resort. The facilities, rooms, food and people are wonderful. If you need to get away from it all, this is your place. My husband and I did not want to leave! I highly recommend taking the Village trip and experience Fiji in a way that will leave you wanting more. Bula and Vinaka!

Great beach, ok food, poor rooms and staff. Management terrible

Beautiful location with a great reef right out front of the resort. It's also protected from the wind making for fun days kayaking, paddle boarding or swimming. Friendly staff, good food and fun activities daily.

My first time in Fiji and I picked this hotel because of the great reviews for the food and the world class beach. Both were amazing! For me it was one of the best beaches in the world. Stretching white sand beach with the ocean as calm as a lake. Great snorkeling right in front of the resort with tons of fish and incredible photos. I was hesitant in even going to Fiji as a solo traveler but this resort had couples, families and other solo travelers I the dorms. Made some good friends and everyone was warm and inviting. Also world class views from a 30 minute hike behind the resort. Wi-Fi was not so good and drinks were a little pricey but again you’re on an island in the middle of the pacific. Also stayed at octopus resort a sister property and also excellent if not better.

This was our first time in this island as well as the property, and the experience was amazing!! All the Staff is super friendly and provide everything you need! The resort is beatiful, confortable and super clean.

First I would say the staff are very friendly and so helpful. They went out of their way to track down a bag that I forgot on the plane. The food was always impressive and you were never hungry. My only constructive feedback would for the dive shop to have slightly better communication. We signed up for something and they cancelled when we arrived. It would have appreciated them letting us know in advance. The diving there was great and the dive masters Andy and Fraser were always awesome and very professional.

Good in general but I thing surprised us was the compulsory meal plan fee of FJ$118 per adult & $98 for child makes US$163/ or C$222 per night, we paid C$1,100 only for food in 5 days which was never mentioned in Expedia website when we booked this hotel. I would suggest Expedia to specify it so people has their own choice to choose this hotel or not, or this cost should be added into the hotel free specifies 3 meals included!
