Charming Victorian In The Heart Of Bay View.

My (70yo) parents, myself and my 11yo son stayed for 4 glorious nights in this wonderful home. Save for the stairs at the entry, the house was a perfect fit - and even those were just fine once my mother got up and down them once! As a city dweller, I had no issue with any noise, nor did my son. My folks noticed it slightly but they live in a very, very quiet suburban community so I think they would have noticed a car driving by. We ADORED Bayview and ended up spending far more time in the neighborhood that we expected to - we ate at every local spot we could find and my folks are still talking about the Grouper at Barnicle Bud's. We never really used the kitchen but everything looked to be in great working order and squeaky clean! The bedrooms worked out perfectly since the extra twin was off the master and made that room perfect for our son and I. He was charmed by the small "hidden" loft sleeping area for him and I was THRILLED to have a bed to myself. My folks were very comfortable in the second bedroom. 4 people in one bathroom was cozier than we're used to, but that is literally the only thing that wasn't perfect. Even more importantly, the entire area was extremely clean and fresh. My mom can be a little overly paranoid about older homes and mold but she never even mentioned it during our stay. If you are looking for a prime location, wonderful people as hosts and a gorgeous (and super clean) home then this is most definitely the place to stay!

Dan and Doreen have a great home. The house is great for a weekend getaway. The bedrooms are big and very comfortable. The kitchen is big with all the utensils. The bathroom is perfect and had everything we needed. Would stay here next time we go to Milwaukee. Thank you to Dan and Doreen.

Great location in heart of Bay View! Friendly, responsive hosts. Nice apartment. Good TV! Ideal for 2 couples or family. Highly recommended.
