Smi:re Stay Oshiage

Great location. Beautiful staff! So clean and comfy. We had the best stay with our family of five. Was a tiny bit of a struggle with our wheelchair due to space with the lift (But only minor) the rooms are a great size. I would absolutely love to come back. It was fantastic!!!

The place is exactly as shown, and it has everything necessary, plus sleepwear included. Although the room is a little small but it’s definitely value for money.

the way the room was set up was unique didn't like the fact that reception was not always attended so when you need to speak to staff it was through email or phone

pros: very close to B2 exit. seems like my house in tokyo. no key only password. good air conditioner. english available managers(thank you. kenzo, yuki) cons: only japanese TV channels. may be good choice for 4-5 family members

Friendly owner and his staff have a good command of the English language. Run a small cafe for coffee and hot dinner. Everything is organized and you'll be able to get what you need. It's near to the metro station entrance and the main shopping center requires a 10-min walk. The main Oshiage station allows you to travel to the main districts in Tokyo.

The hotel is very nice and quiet. It’s a nice place for family and is with a kitchen. We accidentally break the bowls. The host was very nice and did not blame us.

Pros: 1. Excellent location - very near the subway (less than 5 min walking distance) which is next to Tokyo Sky Tower. Although no breakfast is served, there are many eateries at Tokyo Skytree (5 min walk). There is also a Thai restaurant within 3 min walking distance. 2. Quiet and safe neighborhood - we took nightly walks at about 10pm around the neighborhood areas as we shopped in various supermarkets nearby. 3. Convenient Shops and Supermarket nearby - within 3-5 min walk, you can find Family Mart, Lawson, 7-11. Within 8-10 min walk, you can find Big A Discount Supermarket and Tobu Supermarket. 4. Friendly hotel staff - both the receptionist and the bar/cafe staff (Mr Kenso) are friendly and helpful. They speak good English and offer helpful advice. Mr Kenso makes you feel so welcoming in this boutique hotel. 5. Room facilities all functioning well (wifi, heaters, washing machine, microwave oven, etc). Cons: 1. Cleaning service is done once every 2 days. 2. No bottled waters are provided. 3. Coffee/tea and toilet amenities is provided only on the first day. 4. No international TV channels (e.g. CNN, BBC, CCTV, CNA, etc).
